That thought (as these things often do) led to a whole host of other thoughts. Amongst them:

- How the act of choosing relates to our sense of dignity, safety and belonging
- The difference between duty, responsibility and our conditioned ways of responding to the world
- How beautiful boundaries help us act without resentment or feelings of guilt
And how we can come to the same outer actions but with an entirely different inner experience.
